Once upon a time there was a big beehive in the oak tree. And though many bees called that beehive their home, two bees were special. Djeva loved the beehive more than anything, but she always flew away from it to collect nectar. Djeva’s mother, Mati, never liked to leave the beehive and she was always happy in the company of other bees. And every day in the beehive was sweet but one day illness spread in the beehive and every bee grew sick. Mati came to Djeva and asked her to find a magical nectar in a faraway kingdom where wildflowers are seen from the sky.

Accepting the quest Djeva did not

Delay – delay – delay – delay

And as she flew over high mountains and blue oceans

Djeva’s heart wished she could

Stay – stay – stay – stay

Somewhere, anywhere close to her golden plains

But Djeva would always

Pray – pray – pray – pray

For her mother Mati and her beehive in the oak tree

In a faraway kingdom, amongst the wildflowers, Djeva found a beehive in a big eucalyptus tree. Because she was a foreigner and did not belong in the beehive of the eucalyptus tree, other bees started to sting her. But day by day, though wounded and alone, Djeva collected the nectar and soon the bees recognized her hard work. After a short time, the bees accepted Djeva as if she were born in their beehive and Djeva found a new family. When Djeva collected enough nectar for her beehive, the queen of the beehive gifted her a magical nectar from the fields of pink everlastings.

With magical nectar in her stomach Djeva did not

Delay – delay – delay – delay

And as she flew away far from the wildflower fields

Djeva knew she could never

 Stay – stay – stay – stay

Far away from the golden fields of wheat and sunflowers

But now Djeva could only

 Pray – pray – pray – pray

That the nectar she carried from the foreign land

Will be accepted by her bees and never ever banned

Because Djeva thought that her bees would refuse her magical nectar, she feared giving it up, but her love for Mati, for the beehive, for her bees was stronger than her biggest fear. When Djeva gave Mati the wildflower nectar, Mati produced the honey that healed all the bees, and the beehive was healthy again. Djeva was happy in the beehive, but soon, she missed the kingdom of wildflowers and the beehive in the eucalyptus tree. And so then Djeva said her goodbyes to her Mati, to her bees and with their blessings

Djeva did not

Delay – delay – delay – delay

Her return to the wildflower fields

Because Djeva’s heart chose to

Stay – stay – stay – stay

In the beehive on the eucalyptus tree

And every day Djeva would

Pray – pray – pray – pray

For the beehive in the oak tree to be full of honey
